What does Appsforcure do?

Appsforcure Inc. is a non-profit organization. We create smartphone (e.g. iPhone) and tablet (e.g. iPad) computer applications (apps) and generate revenue based on public purchases of these apps from appstores such as the Apple Store and through advertisements. The revenue thus generated minus incidental expenses is donated to medical aid and research foundations such as the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Initially we have identified six such foundations, but we plan to expand the beneficiary foundations as our revenue increases. You can help us in five ways – (a) by purchasing apps from our app gallery, (b) by donating money which will be used to generate apps, (c) by giving ideas for interesting apps, (d) by contributing your time to create apps, or (e) by donating finished apps.

 Why donate money to Appsforcure?

We believe that there would be a multiplicative factor for every penny you put into Appsforcure. This is because of the additional time and effort donated by volunteers including the company directors and people passionate to help the needy and the sick. We plan to track and publish this multiplicative factor on our web site as the organization develops and the revenue grows.
